This an affirming community that practices mindfulness meditation through the breath and senses. Those in community will be introduced to principles of practice, develop and nurture their practice, and be introduced to tools that can be applied to daily life. With the support of community, one will practice meditation as a tool for sitting with and working through thoughts, emotions, and sensations. 

The community gatherings will consist of the following:

  • Bi-weekly virtual sessions that include discussion and practice

  • Each virtual bi-weekly session is one hour on Saturdays, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM (EST) starting February 8, 2025

  • Daily practice and contemplative inquiry suggestions

  • Community Support

  • Opening and closing circle

  • Movement and meditation

  • Different seats for meditation

  • Inner rhythms and meditation 

  • Deep breathing and sensory practices

  • Cultivation of personal practice

  • Cultivation of sustainable practice
